While the idea of reverse FQDNs may seem straightforward, there are several potential gotchas that need to be addressed for this attack to work properly. It relies on the coordinated abuse of two different services: getting a free IPv6 tunnel and getting name servers that resolve the reverse DNS domain to the owner’s content.
